Second Man Charged in Bradley Murder Case Returned to Rock Springs

Tommy Joe Bowman, the second man charged in the Ben Bradley murder case, was returned to Rock Springs on Thursday [May 6, 2010] after waiving extradition from Amador County, California.
Sweetwater County Sheriff Rich Haskell said that Bowman, 38, was served with charging documents at the Amador County Jail in Jackson, California, on April 22nd. He was at the time in custody there on unrelated local charges.
On Thursday [May 6, 2010] Circuit Court Judge Dan Forgey set Bowman’s bond at $150,000, cash or surety.
Bradley disappeared on June 2, 2006, while hitchhiking from Tabernash, Colorado, to Jackson, Wyoming. His body was found on October 1st, 2006 near the base of a landmark called Boar’s Tusk, north of Rock Springs. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds to the chest. A skull fracture was also noted above the left ear.
Eric Conn, 41, like Bowman a former Rock Springs resident, is also in custody, charged with Murder in the First Degree, Accessory to Murder in the First Degree, and Accessory After the Fact in Bradley’s death.
